End of Summer Bash

It’s the end of the summer/beginning of the fall semester! Let’s all drown our sorrows at the pub with good company! All Physics and Astronomy Grads are welcome to join us at the Pour House on Friday 7 September 2012 at 8pm. The Pour House is conveniently located just a 5 min walk from the Dupont subway station. You can find your way there using the Google Map to the Pub.

PAGE will provide appetizers!

If you’d like to attend, please RSVP (page@yorku.ca) no later than Friday 31 August 2012, so that we have proper numbers to book a table.

The Monthly Optical Video Interactive Entertainment Night

We have started a Monthly Optical Video Interactive Entertainment night this year. We hope to make this MOVIE night the best opportunity to hang out and get know each other in a social setting. We can enjoy watching an optical video as we enjoy our colleagues’ company and free pizzas, pop and snacks. To make this night even more special, we sometimes raffle the DVD off to one of the participants at random. So come on in and enjoy the MOVIE with us. Say goodbye to your computer or your research for a couple of hours and enjoy a normal social life. It will be fun, (believe me!) and you will be refreshed. You can even work harder after that.
